One for Another welcomes Girls on the Run!

Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun experience-based curriculum which integrates running. The core curriculum addresses many aspects of girls' development - their physical, emotional, mental and social well-being.  The program is for girls age eight to thirteen that combines training for a 3.1 mile run event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts. Help girls reach their potential by volunteering with Girls on the Run.

Welcome to Team Genesis! 

The newest member of One for Another is Team Genesis that moved their home base from Houston to Lynchburg in 2009.

Their mission is to identify, develop and implement elite sports and education related programs designed to help youth meet their athletic aspirations and maximize their full personal and academic potential.  

The athletic programs offered by Team Genesis International have helped over 100 students receive scholarships to colleges and have served as the catalyst that has jumpstarted 3 NBA careers. Team Genesis provides young men in high school with the opportunity to sharpen their athletic skills, become well rounded, highly disciplined achievers who not only benefit from maintaining a positive focus, but become valued contributors to their community.  Help students achieve academic success by volunteering with Team Genesis!
