One for Another is open to any non-profit organization serving the citizens of Central Virginia's Region 2000 communities.   It is sponsored by the United Way while in it's infancy.  It is open to non-profits, government departments such as parks & rec, churches, schools, and civic organizations.   There is currently a good mix of organization types and we encourage you to recommend the site to any organizations you support.   The more activity from both organizations and volunteers the greater the benefit for the community!

There is a registration process which can be accessed through the Agency Login screens and the One for Another site administrator will approve the registration prior to it becoming public.   Any organization wanting to register at this time please do so understanding that the site will not be actively publized for volunteers until mid-May.

Training sessions to enhance the overall volunteer experience will be made available to organizations.   As an organizations staff completes the training a seal of completion will be notated and easily recognizable for the benefit of the volunteers.
